In large interior designs such as commercial spaces and office lobbies, load-bearing columns are a common design pain point:

• The abrupt concrete structure directly disrupts the spatial circulation and destroys the integrity of the overall design

The core requirement of this project: Through a customized acrylic solution, completely eliminate the visual defects of the load-bearing column, and at the same time build it into the visual core and ambient light source of the space, achieving the perfect unity of structure and aesthetics.

With the core of "turning disadvantages into advantages", we use the optical properties and processability of frosted acrylic to reshape the originally abrupt load-bearing column into a "Light Tree" structure running through the space:

• Taking the load-bearing column as the core framework, stack and splice multi-layer frosted acrylic sheets to create a bionic tree trunk shape
• The upward-extending sheets expand at the ceiling to form a large-area luminous ceiling, creating an immersive atmosphere of a "Forest of Light"
• Adopt a minimalist line design throughout, without redundant decorations, and fully rely on the properties of the material itself to achieve visual effects
